BOATING

Loch Fyne is a fabulous place for boating as it stretches for some forty miles and is open to the sea.

It has Portavadie Marina on its east shore with both diesel and petrol available and an award winning restaurant.

Tarbert Harbour is on the opposite shore providing visitor's moorings and shops and restaurants. There is also diesel available.

Loch Fyne has numerous bays and coves and approximately 22 islands. There are also several castles to be seen occupying its banks.

Whatever the weather it is always possible to find sheltered spot to moor and enjoy the beautiful scenery and wildlife.
